This book… left me speechless!

I knew there was a big secret!  I kept trying to figure out what it could be…. never in a million years did I come close to the truth!!

Pepper Winters is a writer like no other… every book, every character comes to life with her words. She is a master at making readers breathless with anticipation of what will happen next! I could not put this book down. It took me less than a day to read it! I was absolutely breathless at the end… nearly jumping out of my skin!

Gil was an abused teen, who was abused by people who should have been his caretakers. Until he met Olin, no one cared for him the way they should have. Olin was a neglected teen, her parents spent more time away from her than with her. When she fell for Gil, she found a family in him. Then, out of the blue, he pushed her away. No explanation, no answers. She was devastated. Years later she answers an ad, and when she goes to the interview, it’s Gil. Gil who she never stopped loving or missing. He is a body painter, and she is there to be his living canvas. It’s torture for her to have him close as he paints her.. she wants answers. He’s not forthcoming. He gives no answers, she falls for him again… but there’s something he is hiding…. someone has a hold over him. She doesn’t know what or who, but she’s determined to know, and to try to help him. She finds out his secret…. right at the end…. and my mouth literally dropped open and I gasped!

Holy hell!! What did I just read?

Eagerly waiting for book two… not sure my heart can take it though!
